The same setup works for hybrid classrooms as well. A simple setup for a hybrid classroom is to place one of the PTC-145 cameras at the teacher. Another PTC-145 camera can be directed at the students who are physically in class. A laptop with PowerPoint for the lecture can be connected via one of the HDMI inputs on the HS-2600. Connect one of the HDMI outputs to CAP-2, and CAP-2 can then be connected to the laptop for a Zoom or Teams meeting.

Having a camera pointed at students attending the class in-person is a great way for everyone to collaborate and see each other as they discuss and learn. It will also keep students at home engaged with the lecture and make them feel like an integral part of the class. Microsoft Teams also has various features that allow teachers to keep students who are learning from home accountable when it comes to checking their progress with assignments.

Whether you use Zoom or Teams, with the use of technology, students can participate in class from anywhere in the world as long as they have an Internet connection. With the use of video technology, educators can create exciting, engaging, and interesting lectures for all students, whether they are learning in person or remotely from home. Learning how to produce a hybrid event production is a valuable skill that will carry your students through life long after they graduate from high school and college. All the skills your students have learned throughout this course align with ISTE Standards for Students, making them well-rounded individuals and preparing them for their future careers.
