In chapters 8 and 11, we learned how to play video clips that we have recorded previously into the live broadcasts. To review, we played the clip from a laptop, which is connected to one of the HDMI inputs on the HS-2600. Integrating a video call from Zoom or Microsoft Teams works the same way. We will simply connect the Zoom/Teams laptop to the HS-2600 via an HDMI connection. It will show up as one of the inputs on the HS-3200 multiview screen. Make sure that the Zoom/Teams app is set to full screen on the laptop. Once you are ready to bring in the call, you can use the PIP feature to bring the Zoom/Teams call into your production, or you can simply cut between the inputs to go back and forth from the on-screen talent in the studio to the virtual guest.

This opens up a lot of options for who you may have on the show as a guest. You are no longer limited to people on campus. You can now add interviews with teachers, students, and members of the school board without them physically in the studio.
