To effectively manage still images, logo files, and other data on the SE-4000, it is necessary to utilize a software tool called Switcher Image Import/Export.
Let's go through the steps involved in file management operations.
Firstly, visit the official Datavideo website and go to the HS-3200 product page to download the Switcher Image Import/Export zip file.
Connect your computer to the SE-2600 by using an Ethernet cable through the DVIP port.
You can find the SE-2600’s IP address in the [Network] section of the OSD settings page.
Please ensure that your computer and the SE-2600 are on the same network.
Next, unzip the downloaded Zip file and click on this file on the screen to open the software.
In the “Setup” section of the software, you can verify the connection status between your computer and the SE-2600.
If not connected, please check the device IP address and click the "Scan" button to rescan and establish the connection.
Now, let's focus on importing still images to the SE-2600.
The steps for importing other types of files follow a similar process and will not be discussed here.
Navigate to the "Still" page within the software.
Click on the number, then assign a position for the imported image.
Click the "Import Still" button, select the image file you wish to import, adjust the cropping if necessary, and click "OK" to complete the import process.
Next, we look at the Files page of the SE-2600, divided into five subpages: User, Still, Clip, Logo, and Ani Logo. These correspond to the categories in the Switcher Image Import Export software.
First, let's examine the "User" section. Here, users can save or recall user memory settings. A quicker method for recalling user memory is by directly pressing the User 1-9 keys on the control panel.
Next, the "Still" section, which consists of four parts:
Load Still: First, select the channel, then choose the image, and finally, press “load.” Remember to go to the inputs tab and set the output mode to Still.
Save Still: This involves saving the input screen of the SE-2600 as an image file. First, select the source, with options being input 1-8 or the PGM capture buffer Still 1 & 2. Then, choose the location to save the image and press “save.”
Delete: To delete an image file, select the image to be deleted from the save location and then press the delete button.
Grab Still: The "Grab" function is identical to the control panel's Grab button, capturing the PGM screen to the temporary locations named Still 1 and Still 2. If the save image function is not used to save the temporary images, the next time the Grab function is used, the previous temporary images will be overwritten.
Now, let's look at the "Clip" section. This section is for selecting the animation transition style. First, choose the style in the Clip section and press “load.” The loading progress will be shown in the PVW window of the Multiview. Once loading is complete, the animation transition can be used normally.
Clip settings allow you to set the start and end points of the animation file. "Clean Clip" can clear the files loaded into the temporary location. "Delete Clip" can delete the selected animation file.
Lastly, the operations for logo and ani logo are the same. The load, clean, and delete operations are identical to those for animation.
Logo 1 & 2 can select where to store the temporary files and adjust the display position of the logo.
On the control panel, pressing the logo button will display the logo on both the PGM and PVW screens.
The above are the operation instructions for file storage and retrieval on the SE-2600.
