Welcome to the Datavideo Academy. In this video, we will introduce the system diagram centered around the HS-1600T MKII and important considerations for connecting cameras.

First, let's take a look at the system diagram.
Starting with the inputs. The video input utilizes three PTC-145T cameras that support HDBaseT and auto-tracking functionality. These cameras are connected to the switcher via Cat 6 network cables to the HDBaseT interfaces. A laptop is connected using an HDMI cable, serving as the source for video and PPT inputs. If PPT is not needed, the laptop can also be used as a source for lumakey material. Audio input employs a mixer paired with an AD-10 for audio delay, connected via RCA cables.

Next, let's discuss the outputs.
One HDMI output is used for PGM monitoring, another HDMI output connects to the HDR-80 recorder for primary recording, and the remaining HDMI loop-out is used to monitor the PPT. The HDBaseT output can connect to HDBaseT-compatible devices using a Cat 6 network cable for long-distance monitoring as a backup. The stream interface uses a network cable to connect to a computer or router for live streaming. Additionally, an SD card can be inserted for backup recording. With these connections, the working environment setup is complete.

Connecting cameras to the HS-1600T MKII is straightforward. If you are using cameras that support HDBaseT, such as the PTC-140T, 145T, 285T, or 305T, you can simply use a Cat 6 network cable to connect directly to the HDBaseT in interface on the HS-1600T MKII. For cameras that do not support HDBaseT, such as the PTC-140, 150, 280, or 300, you will need to use an HBT-5 HDBaseT transmitter to take advantage of the convenient features HDBaseT provides.

This concludes the introduction to the system diagram and camera connections for the HS-1600T MKII.
