This guide introduces the commonly used RTMP, and SRT for integration with dvCloud. For more complex applications involving NDI and SRT that require additional equipment and setup, please refer to the "PTC Camera NDI Function Application Examples" and "BB-1 Kit: dvCloud Remote Device Control" courses for detailed explanations.

The PTC-205 supports simultaneous dual streaming. The main stream and sub stream can be enabled or disabled independently, and indicators at the top of the interface show whether each stream is currently active.
In terms of streaming protocols, the PTC-205 supports multiple options. This video introduces the most commonly used protocol, RTMP, as well as SRT, which is used in conjunction with dvCloud.
Starting with RTMP, here is a demonstration of how to stream simultaneously to both Facebook and YouTube.
First, under Protocol, select RTMP(S).
Then, go to the streaming page of each platform. Copy the stream URL and paste it into the MRL field. Manually add a forward slash ("/") at the end of the URL, and then paste the stream key after it.
Other parameters should be configured according to your local network conditions.
Once completed, enable both the main stream and the sub stream, click Apply, and reboot the PTC-205. You should then see the camera feed appear on the live streaming pages.
Next is an explanation of how to stream using the SRT protocol to dvCloud.
First, log in to dvCloud. In the Source tab, click the Add a video source button in the top left corner to enter the setup page.
Enter a Channel Name, scroll down, and select Stream from hardware encoder.
Under Protocol, choose SRT, then click Save Channel to return to the Source tab.
Click on the newly created channel name to enter the setup page, and make note of the SRT IP and SRT Port values.
Return to the PTC's Web UI and enable the main stream.
Select SRT for the Protocol, and set the SRT Mode to Caller.
Enter the SRT IP from dvCloud in the SRT Address field, and the SRT Port in the corresponding port field.
Click Apply to save the settings.
Return to dvCloud. At this point, the camera feed from the PTC-205 should appear under the Source tab. If the video does not appear, refresh the dvCloud webpage.
This concludes the introduction to the streaming features of the PTC-205.
