To access the Web UI of the PTC camera, you must first identify the camera’s IP address. The fastest way to find the IP is by connecting the camera to a monitor via an HDMI cable. Then, use the remote control to open the on-screen menu, where the camera’s IP address will be displayed.
Once you have the IP address, connect a network cable directly between the camera’s DVIP port and your computer. If the camera's DVIP port is already connected to a router, simply connect the computer to the same router. Ensure that both the camera and the computer are within the same network segment.
Then, open a browser on your computer and enter the IP address of the PTC camera. This will bring you to the Web UI homepage. The default login username and password are both "admin."
The Web UI of the PTC-205 series camera consists of seven tabs. The first tab is Camera Setup.
The upper portion allows users to control the camera, with available functions shown on the interface.
The first page in the lower portion provides basic image adjustment options. Available settings will vary depending on the selected Exposure and White Balance modes.
The second page contains more advanced settings. After making any changes, be sure to click “Apply” to confirm them.
In the Video Output tab, users can change the output resolution for both HDMI and SDI. Again, click “Apply” after any adjustments.
In the Stream tab, the PTC-205 supports dual streaming, distinguished as main stream and sub stream. Available options will differ depending on the selected streaming protocol. Due to the complexity of this section, it will be explained in a separate instructional video.
The Network tab allows you to enable or disable DHCP, modify the IP address, or change the NTP server. Remember to click “Apply” after any changes to ensure they take effect.
The Audio tab provides basic controls for audio input. You may also disable audio input as needed.
In the System tab, the Operation Mode includes [Conference Mode], which is designed for use with the Voice Track 100. Under normal conditions, [Production Mode] should be selected.
In the Auto Tracking tab, tracking must first be enabled before other options can be configured. Due to the complexity of this feature, it will be explained in a separate video.
This concludes the explanation of the PTC-205 Web UI menu.
