Welcome to Datavideo Academy.
In this video, we will introduce the built-in NVS-31 encoder of the HS-1600T MKII, and the various pages and functions of the Web UI.
First, let's look at how to connect to the Web UI.
Prepare a router and use ethernet cables to connect it to both your computer and the STREAM port of the HS-1600T MKII. Confirm the IP of the computer and the NVS-31 to ensure they are on the same network. The default IP of the NVS-31 is 192.168.1.200.
If you are in a DHCP environment, you can download DeviceFinder from the official website product page to find the device IP.
Then, open a browser and enter the IP address of the NVS-31 in the address bar to successfully connect to the Web UI.
Now let's introduce the different pages of the Web UI.
・The Source Page, displays information about the input videos. Remember to refresh the webpage frequently to see the latest status updates.
・The Operation Mode Page and details on how to record and stream will be explained in later video.
・The CG page allows you to set up CG overlays. The NVS-31 can support up to four layers of subtitles or images.
To set up CG overlays, first, select the layer where the subtitles or image will be placed in the CG Layer. The larger the layer number, the upper it will be in the layering order.
In CG Type, choose either [Text] or [Picture] according to your needs. Here, we will choose [Text] for demonstration.
Enter the text content in the text field, set the text size, and the locations. The larger the X-axis number, the further to the right the text will be. The larger the Y-axis number, the further down the text will be.
Choose the text color in the Foreground Color section and confirm the color setting by clicking the color wheel icon at the bottom right.
After completing these settings, click [Apply] to save the changes.
Click [Start CG] to see the subtitles or images on your live stream or recording.
・On System Page, you can view network settings, adjust DHCP mode, change the account password, update the firmware, format the disk, and more.
・On Status Page, you can check the recording and streaming status, as well as information about the inserted SD card. Remember to refresh the webpage frequently to display the latest status.
・To output a vertical video, you can select your desired vertical video processing method on the Vertical Page. The differences between the options are shown on the screen.
Please note, if you use the Vertical button on the device panel, it will use the "Crop" option as the vertical video processing method.
That concludes the overview of the NVS-31 Web UI.
