To open the PTC-600 menu, press the Menu button on the remote control.
The PTC-600 menu has eight pages. We’ll go through them in order, starting with Tracking.
You can turn Auto Tracking on or off. Every item here also has a matching control in the web UI.
The Half Body Presetting lets you fine-tune the subject size when you’ve selected the close-up option.
A full walkthrough of the auto-tracking features will be covered in a separate tutorial video.
In Setup, you can choose the control protocol. The options are Pelco-D, P and Visca.
Camera page provides the usual basic image adjustments.
In the PTZ page, when Speed by Zoom is turned on, pan and tilt slow down at the telephoto end and speed up at the wide end.
Image Freezing lets the camera hold the frame when you recall a preset. The picture stays frozen while the camera moves, then resumes once it reaches the preset position.
Acceleration Curve gives you two choices. Select Slow if you want a smoother start to your moves. Select Fast if you want to get the move done quickly.
Video Format lets you choose the output format for HDMI and SDI. If the device you’re connecting to only accepts SDI Level-B, you can switch it here.
Network Settings lets you turn DHCP on or off. If you change this setting, the camera will reboot.
That’s the overview of the PTC-600 menu.
