PTC-600 4K Auto-Tracking PTZ camera features a professional and high-end design, in the same series, there’s also the PTC-600G, which adds 12G-SDI outputs.
Let’s start with the exterior of the PTC-600.
The camera uses a 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor with a maximum resolution of 4K 50/60 and can perform 30x optical zoom. Below the lens are red and green indicator lights, as well as an infrared receiver. The vents on both sides are for heat dissipation, and the PTC-600 doesn’t include a built-in speaker.
The lens offers a 60-degree horizontal field of view. Pan range is 340 degrees, and tilt goes from +105 down to -20 degrees.
Now to the back of the unit.
A tally light has been added on the rear panel. The standard panel includes two 3G-SDI outputs, one 4K HDMI output, and one UVC output. For audio, there are two XLR line-in ports and one 3.5 mm mic-in jack.
For control, there are two RJ-45 ports: one for RS-232/422 control, and another for Ethernet, NDI, PoE, and DVIP. The DIP switch on the left corresponds to the IRID settings on the remote control, with combinations shown on screen.
You’ll also find the reset pinhole, the microSD card slot, and the DC in.
On the PTC-600G, two 12G-SDI outputs are added at the lower-left corner of the rear panel.
