When using the HDR-80 with multiple inputs you can use the recorder as a simple switcher on the program output. It works as follows. Connect up to four inputs to the recorder, this can be for instance four different cameras or other image feeds. Connect a display on the program output of the HDR-80. During recording you can switch between the inputs by simply tapping the touch screen of the HDR-80. This will significantly simplify your setup whilst giving you plenty options of creating a dynamic vibe in your venue.
